Hi, I'm Goutam.
Right now I'm a software engineer working in Karlsruhe Instute of Technology(KIT), Germany on the VForWater project. I also work with Tür an Tür Digitalfabrik on creating a multilingual digital counselling application for easier access of information for migrants in Germany.
I'm a computer engineer by heart. I enjoy building things that are useful to myself and other people. Despite of my greater experience in software engineering, I'm very interested in studying and working with Robotics. Robotics manipulation, autonomous systems, and control are all areas I keep trying to get more experience with.
I'm generally into Badminton, travelling, reading, cooking, open source, building apps, and setting up a home server with my raspberry pi, amongst other stuff. One of my current goals is to start writing and documenting the whirling thoughts in my mind a bit better, which should hopefully appear here soon as different sections on the blog.
